We appreciate the opportunity to be a part of your success story.

What We Offer

  • Academic skill building
  • Access to early college credit
  • Career and self-exploration
  • Scholarship opportunities
  • Mental health and wellness services
  • 1-1 academic coaching

Our Goals for Students

Sophomore Year
During sophomore year, students focus on building a strong academic foundation, strengthening study habits, and exploring early college credit opportunities. Students also begin identifying their strengths, interests, values, and wellness needs as they prepare for future college and career decisions

Junior Year
During junior year, students deepen their college and career exploration through research, campus visits, networking, and experiences that help clarify their goals. Students also prepare for college entrance exams, continue strengthening their academic performance, and practice the social-emotional skills needed to navigate challenges and seek support.

Senior Year
During senior year, students focus on maintaining strong academic performance, applying to colleges, understanding financial aid, and choosing the best-fit postsecondary path. Students also develop a transition plan and continue practicing self-care as they prepare for the shift from high school to college.

Collegiate Years

During college, students receive ongoing one-on-one support to help them navigate campus life, adjust to college expectations, build new networks, and connect with resources. The goal is for students to earn a college degree within six years of high school graduation, manage debt wisely, and move toward a career and future that supports long-term stability and upward mobility

Eligibility Criteria

College Bound seeks to admit current high school freshmen with at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or higher, demonstrate financial need, and/or would be first-generation college students—meaning your parents do not have a bachelor’s degree. All applicants must have the willingness, motivation, and desire to pursue higher education.

Student Commitment

As a College Bound participant, you are expected to attend all scheduled programming: an average of 3 evenings a month for programming and 1-3 times a month for coaching sessions taking place at the College Bound Headquarters. You will work collaboratively with your assigned coach to set goals and develop skills that will contribute to your college success and beyond.  Our goal is for our participants to graduate high school with the highest success possible and a strong resume for college. We are intentional about creating a personalized plan to get you there and the more you participate, the more you will learn and grow from the program!

Parent/Guardian Commitment

As a College Bound parent/guardian, you are expected to support your student in meeting their College Bound requirements, participate in requested activities, and maintain communication with the College Bound team.

We expect our College Bound parents/guardians to support you in meeting your College Bound requirements, participate in requested activities, and maintain communication with the College Bound team.

Application Process

Students and parents/guardians are encouraged to complete the College Bound Application together, as there are questions an adult may be best positioned to answer.

We accept applications until our recruitment cycle closes. There are benefits to applying early, and we encourage our students to apply during the first semester of their freshman year. We accept applications electronically. The application consists of student information, school information, and family information.

  • Fall Applicants : If you are applying to College Bound during your fall semester, you need to include your progress report or report card at the time your application is submitted. At the end of the fall semester, you will be asked to provide your unofficial transcript to verify your grade point average.
  • Spring Applicants: If you are applying to College Bound during your spring semester, you will need to include your unofficial transcript, that includes your fall grades, to verify your grade point average.

  • All Applicants: At the end of the school year, you will need to provide your unofficial transcript, that includes fall and spring grades, to verify your academic year grade point average.

Once your application materials are received, they will be reviewed by College Bound and we will contact you to schedule a College Bound Interview. Your parent/guardian is encouraged to attend the interview with you to learn more about our program.

After the interview, your parent/guardian will complete the College Bound Enrollment packet, as this allows us to verify your eligibility for the program.
